Ok i really need some help here. Here is what happens: If I play a single player game and exit the program after the window closes I get 'Rise of nations has stopped working'. Now when I go to patch/update after the update gets to 100% I get the same error message. I talked to MS tech support and they sent me somewhere to fix the problem, only it doesn't seem to fix it. I use windows vista and I am seeing that this may be the problem.

To check what version of the game that you have, start Rise of Nations and select 'Tools & Extras' from the main menu.

Then select 'About Rise of Nations' and you should see the version listed at the top of the window. Probably the real issue is that youre running it in Vista. There are plenty of Vista users who have encountered problems with RON. I cant help with that because I still have XP.
